With the external emergency release 1702REV from Chamberlain, the garage door can be opened manually in an emergency from the outside with an additional lock. In case of power failure, there is no need to panic. An installed emergency release is indispensable for automated garage doors, unless a separate access door to the garage is available. A cylinder lock and two keys are already included in the delivery. Note: To attach the external emergency release, an additional hole for the lock and fixing screws must be drilled in the garage door.
