Connecticut Electric 30 A, 2P UBI Type A Challenger Breaker

Using wire size #10-3 copper with ground, this 120/240 Volt replacement breaker is used in a Challenger load center. Typical applications, up to 13,200 W, include hot water heaters, clothes dryers, air conditioners (240 Volt, up to 36,000 BTU) and electric motors (240 Volt, 1-1/2 HP to 3 HP).
