Description

The cocoa B2D Directional Lavalier Mic, Standard Gain, with Hardwired 3-Pin XLR Connector Cable for Select 3-Pin XLR Devices from Countryman features a lightweight 0.18-ounce body that was designed to be discreetly mounted and can be used for miking news anchors, actors in a film or theater setting, lecturers in a school or house of worship type environment. The B2D's tight hypercardioid pattern gives the mic an extra 6-10 dB of headroom compared to an omnidirectional lavalier mic, which means less problems with feedback, ambient noise, room rumble, and phase cancellations when using multiple microphones. This version offers the highest gain for general chest-worn applications such as presentations or sermons. In addition, the B2D lavalier is equipped with a hardwired cable that terminates to a 3-Pin XLR connector for direct connection to Select 3-Pin XLR mixers, recorders, and other devices with an XLR connection.
