Chem Crest 275 Alkaline Wash Solution - 4 x 1 Gallon Bottle - Crest Ultrasonic 700275C Chem-Crest 275 is a multipurpose, heavy-duty, phosphate and silicate-free caustic liquid detergent. It is useful in many applications demanding removal of various contaminants such as oils, greases, and particulates. This detergent finds many uses throughout industrial, mechanical, and maintenance cleaning operations. Substrate Compatibility: Chem-Crest 275 is safe on ferrous metals, nickel, chromium alloys, titanium, plastics, glass, ceramics and silicon wafers when used as directed. It is not to be used on aluminum, magnesium or zinc substrates. Operating Conditions: Typical dilution is 3-5% by volume for light soils and 5-10% by volume for heavy soils. A 20-25% solution can be used for de-rusting and de-scaling of ferrous metals. Recommended rinsing water temperature: 120 - 150°F.
