The DN-506S 6" Tri-Amplified, 3-Way Reference Monitor from Denon is a loudspeaker with dedicated drivers for low, mid, and high frequencies. The speaker utilizes coaxial placement of the mid- and high-frequency drivers, ensuring time and phase cohesion without taking up excess real estate. Discrete driver amplification and a custom crossover circuit yields quality vocal reproduction, making the DN-506S suitable for situations requiring high speech intelligibility. The loudspeaker provides proximity controls, and standard VESA mounting holes under the cabinet extend placement from tabletops and shelves to walls and ceilings. In addition, the three-way speaker features a variable equalizer control for each driver, making custom calibrations quick and simple. A custom waveguide ensures smooth, wide audio dispersion to the audience, and when powered on, a blue LED assists with placement orientation.
