Diamond Audio uses an aluminum-finned radial heatsink to pull damaging heat away from the motor assembly — the alloy cone and aluminum dust cap also direct heat upwards and outwards, so it doesn't end up trapped in your subwoofer enclosure. Hefty 3" aluminum-coated copper voice coils dissipate even more heat for exceptional power handling.
