General construction begins with a kiln-dried hardwood frame-machined for durability. Dowel construction is used throughout, along with glue, screws, and corner block. The suspension is uniquely determined for each frame composed of a layer of synthetic fiber batting, a generous portion of urethane foam, and another layer of white synthetic fiber batting. All inner body fillings are hypoallergenic. The outer fillings are made with a synthetic fiber fabric covering followed by a layer of dense fiber batting and the finished fabric. The finished fabric does not touch the raw frame as everything is padded. The skirts are hand-aligned and cut to the upholstered item to assure an accurate match. The skirts are fully lined and sewn with mitered corners for a natural drape. Our typical skirt height off the floor is one-half inch. All skirted items are equipped with levelers in each leg to allow for height adjustment. All fully upholstered frames are covered by a limited lifetime warranty.
