The Electro-Voice ND66 is a robust condenser microphone for instruments with a small, high-diaphragm performance. The microphone contains a self-biased capsule a condenser with a small membrane, particularly suitable for the complex dynamic nature of string and percussion instruments that guarantee a sound clean and defined. The exclusive rotatable capsule allows to place the microphone in any application by pressing simply a button and rotating the capsule to lock it in the desired position. The ND66 is equipped with a pad selectable at -10dB / -20dB which provide reduction of gain needed to prevent capsule overload in case of use with very high or high sound sources transients. The ND66 includes selectable high pass filters a 75Hz / 150Hz to eliminate low frequencies.
