The Easy Fix screed is an aluminum-polyester combination of polymer bitumen, which serves as a moisture seal under screed constructions. It is used as a moisture barrier on earth-contacting floor slabs against rising damp or as a vapor barrier on storey ceilings over building physics rooms. The attachment is glued to the longitudinal seam, after removal of the siliconized seam strips on the top and bottom. The cross seam is covered and glued with the Easy Fix connection strip.
