Vintage Jade Distylium is a low growing shrub with a mounding growth habit. New foliage will emerge with a light green color then will become darker green, keeping its color through winter. In winter this Distylium produces small red flowers. Many people have starting using this Distylium as an alternative to low growing and dwarf boxwoods, hollies, juniper, and Indian Hawthorns.
