Fischer's FID 50 insulating dowel is ideal for attaching lightweight attachments to plastered and unplastered polystyrene and polyurethane insulation panels. It can be placed in the insulation board with a cordless screwdriver or by hand. The special thread spiral intersects form-fitting in the insulation board. Attachments are attached to the FID 50 with a 4.5 mm screw. In order to prevent water from entering the insulation material, the anchor edge should be sealed after pre-installation. The FID 50 can be used in thin insulation boards from 50 mm. In thicker insulation boards, we recommend using the FID 90.
