The gypsum plasterboard anchor GKM by Fischer is the optimal fastening system in plasterboard and gypsum fiber boards and can be used with wood, chipboard and sheet metal screws. The suitable for the Vorsteckmontage dowel is screwed through the cross recess drive with a standard screwdriver, flush with the surface of the plasterboard. The sharp, self-tapping thread of the GKM enables secure and positive fastening for high load-bearing capacities. Thanks to the short plug length, only a small space requirement behind the plate is required, which enables use even with unknown plate thickness and cavity depth. In gypsum fiberboards and double-planked gypsum plasterboard must be pre-drilled with a Ø8 mm drill bit.
