By using 240 LEDs with a rated CRI of 93.6, this daylight-balanced 5500K light source will be able to accurately and easily illuminate your subject all while keeping heat to a minimum. LEDs are ideal for lengthy shoots because of this and can be used closer to subjects. This 10.75" diameter circular fixture also has a long lifetime and has a physical dimmer dial on the back for changing the output from 10-100%. The housing can hold up to demanding environments and LEDs will easily last longer than equivalent fluorescent or tungsten bulbs.
