The special dry batteries used are able to be recharged in less than 5 hours and have a 100% guaranteed charge / discharge cycle of more than 4000 hours. The batteries can be charged from either external shore power or from the built-in backup generator. When the CUBE+ Hybrid light tower has utilized all of the stored energy from the battery pack, the diesel generator will provide all the energy required for the operation of LED lamps.
