The GM4552L Series 4 Monopod from Gitzo is a 5-section, lightweight carbon fiber support designed as the tallest model in Gitzo's monopod line up. Utilizing Gitzo's patented G-Lock Ultras, the GM4552L has the ability to support up to an impressive 66 lb while weighing just 1.6 lb. The monopod reaches a maximum height of 74.8", allowing the user to shoot above crowds or from a slightly elevated position. As all Gitzo monopods, it features a reversible 1/4"-20 & 3/8"-16 mounting thread for adding an optional head if even more height or articulation is needed. Despite its impressive height, it's 5-section design allows the monopod to collapse down to just 22" for transport or storage.
