COMP-3A is a compressor / limiter with vintage sounds. The signal path is made with discrete components (resistors, capacitors, diodes, transistors) and transformers separate optimized for entry and exit stages. The use of discrete components allows the reproduction of the refined sounds of the past - mostly musical, which cannot be achieved with current technologies. The COMP-3A circuit is inspired by the famous compressors electro-optical "program dependent" of the past, in which the attenuation was controlled by a panel electroluminescent and a photoelectric cell. Control of compression based essentially on the parameters Gain e Peak Reduction, allows you to get the sound you want in easier way. COMP-3A includes a high pass filter adjustable for better control via sidechain, a Link connector that allows you to connect two units per stereo operations with balance adjustment, e gain of the adjustable output stage.
