The Grundfos Alpha 2 is an electronically controlled low-energy pump. Thanks to the unique combination of frequency converter, permanent magnet technology and compact stator construction, the Alpha 2 is placed at the top of the energy efficiency scale. With a power consumption of only 3 watts in the operation of a typical single-family home, the Grundfos Alpha 2 saves up to 80% compared to unregulated pumps. With appropriately equipped boilers, activating the night setback function reduces the pump's power consumption to a minimum. The new stainless steel design offers a long service life and reliable protection against corrosion. The small dimensions are made possible by the electronics integrated into the pump. The clear LED display shows either the current power consumption in W or the current flow rate in m³ / h. The Alpha plug, which is well-known in the market, enables uncomplicated mains connection.
