The Grundfos Alpha 3 is equipped with the hydraulics and the latest innovations in the Alpha 2 series. These include a high-efficiency permanent magnet motor, AutoAdapt technology with self-adapting characteristics, and practical features for reliable operation, including true dry run protection with load testing and safe tarnishing to remove debris after prolonged inactivity. Like the Alpha 2 series, the new Alpha 3 achieves the highest efficiency in its class with an Energy Efficiency Index (EEI) of less than or equal to 0.15 (Alpha3 25-40 180 model). As a special feature, the Alpha 3 is equipped with special communication options for hydraulic balancing.
