Description
Samyl Elderberry is a vigorous plant that grows 6 ft. tall to 8 ft. tall with a 2 ft. to 5 ft. spread and produces small, purplish black berries in large clusters. In early Summer it is covered with gorgeous little white flowers. Then, from August to September, it produces a heavy yield of berries. This cultivar from Denmark grows particularly high-quality flowers and is even more productive than Samdal when in season. Its berries are ideal for jellies, juices and cordials. They are high in anthocyanins. Plant more than 1 variety to ensure pollination.
