Gys filler wire roller can be used to join steel and steel sheets. Inside, the cored wire contains a powder that turns into inert gas during welding, protecting the weld from corrosion during welding. Additional shielding gas is thus not required, whereby a smaller welding machine can be used and welded in drafts. The roll is easy to insert into the welding machine, the burner is supplied with wire via the sliding rollers.
