This Siai Marchetti SF-260 is a 1630mm (wingspan) balsa and plywood model based on the Air Combat USA color scheme. It can be powered by electric motors or Nitro engines. Your choice. The SF-260 is built by the Italian firm, Siai Marchetti (now Leonardo) and was designed by Stelio Frati. It first flew on 15 July 1964. It was marketed as a military trainer and/or aerobatics aircraft. It has been sold to a large number of Air Forces as well as the civilian market. It is a stable flyer but still has aerobatic performance and should suit the enthusiastic pilot. Choose your own powerplant to get the performance you require. It comes complete with servoless electric retracts to give that clean look when in the air. It comes with flaps to help slow it down for an easy landing. This is a different model to most of the regular RC planes so you should stand out at your local field doing loops and rolls before a strafing run.
