The component is intended for switching on, switching off or change-over of light or rail circuits. It is controlled by switches, switch contacts, potential-free reed contacts or switching tracks and can be operated for all model trains which uses DC, AC or digital power. Because of the small power input of the bi-stable relay (2xU) the smallest reed contacts available in the trade can be used for the control. Magnets mounted on the train facilitate the switching process while passing over the reed contacts.
