The temperature settings range from 100 to 134 degrees C (212 to 273 F), with sterilization times up to 60 minutes for simplified operation. The autoclave comes with three stainless steel trays for maximizing space in the chamber by holding instruments, liquids, laboratory equipment and other items to be sterilized. The autoclave has a combination pressure and temperature gauge, and an automatic low water shut off to prevent damage to the heater elements if there is insufficient water for sterilization.
