They designed the CS 250 S2 shallow-mount 10" subwoofer to get powerful bass from a very small enclosure, and its 4-1/2" mounting depth allows installation in the smaller spaces of today's cars. The CS 250 S2 10" subwoofer features a rugged polypropylene cone that punches out deep, rich bass, while minimizing distortion. The sub handles up to 300 watts RMS power, and its 2-ohm impedance makes it a great match for a mono sub amp. Push terminals accept up to 8-gauge speaker wire so you can maximize the signal delivered to the speaker. This sub is designed to mount close to the back wall of your enclosure and requires very little clearance in front. It's optimized for enclosures as small as 0.57 cubic feet, so it will tuck into a corner of the trunk or under the rear seat of many trucks.
