The black Bee 50-C PAR Spot Omni-Color LED Light from Hive is a versatile 1.5 lb LED light source that measures just 5" in length and 4" in diameter making it a great choice for tight spaces with minimal support requirements. The light has a 22-degree PAR spot reflector that makes it an ideal choice for selective lighting or for long throw work. The beam can be further modified by the included 4-way barndoors. Control is the key word in the construction of the 50-C. Hive uses Perfect S.H.O.T. controls, a propietary term for complete control and adjustment of every aspect of light output. Part of the success of the system is due to the use of 5-LED chip blending. Instead of the traditional three colors, Hive uses red, amber, lime, cyan, and sapphire for nearly infinite color combinations with a high CRI/TLCI rating of 98 and 97.
