Description

The MRL sensor (miniature ratiometric linear) the SS 494-series has a ratio metric output voltage from the supply voltage. This varies in proportion to the strength of the magnetic field. An integrated circuit chip offers increased temperature stability and hall effect-sensitivity. By Laser matched thin film resistors on the Chip enable a high accuracy as well as temperature compensation for the reduction of zero and amplification displacements over the temperature. By the design with four times the Hall effect, the damages caused by mechanical and thermal loads of the output is minimized and a stable output. The positive temperature coefficient of the sensitivity provides for a compensation of the negative temperature coefficient cheaper magnets for robust design over wide temperature ranges.Application areas: current measurement, motor control, position measurement, magnetic code reading, rotary encoders, ferrous metal detector, vibration measurement, level measurement, weight measurement. This text is ma...
