The Aspire 400 system provides satellite voice and data interchange using a satellite service in support of the following categories of communications: Air Traffic Service(ATS), Aircraft Operational Control (AOC), Aeronautical Administrative Communication(AAC), and Aeronautical Passenger Communications (APC)(2)The Aspire 400 provides up to two satellite communication channels. A channel for the following cockpit services: ACARS data (Aircraft Communications Addressing and Reporting System), Cockpit voice, Position Reporting and AIS Electronic Flight Bag services. A second channel for cabin voice and data services.
