It is designed to cut and strip 8-26 AWG solid or stranded wire and the crimper portion works on non-insulated terminals from 10 to 22 AWG with also a separate crimper for crimping 7 mm to 8 mm ignition wires. The wire stripper is great for stripping Romex 12 and 14 AWG cables and most solid or stranded conductors. This wire stripper and crimper has a handy adjustable wire stop to ensure clean and consistent results plus a micro-adjustment knob for working with wires of different sizes.
