This Round Residential Valve Box features black plastic construction and a snap-in green lid. Manufactured of corrosion resistant materials, all parts are designed with quality engineering and construction to be durable and reliable and to meet Jones Stephens highest quality standards. The 6 in. box has a 8-7/8 in. height with an 8-1/2 in. OD when measured on the outside of the bottom of the box and a 6-1/8 in. OD when measured at the lid. The overlapping cover keeps dirt or grass from between body and lid. This valve box can be extended with any 6 in. plastic or iron pipe. Used to protect outdoor valves from foot traffic, weather, and lawn mowers. Note: for non-vehicular applications. Concrete and asphalt installations are not recommended for plastic parts.
