JVC projectors have long been favorites with videophiles, and these new 8K-capable models are among their finest ever. The DLA-NZ7R is the most budget-friendly model in the lineup, but it has a lot in common with the pricier models. It uses the same 17-element, 15-group all-glass 65mm lens as the step-up 'NZ8R for excellent sharpness and edge-to-edge focus. It also offers cutting-edge connections and a long-lasting laser light source that delivers enough brightness to fill screens up to 200 inches. The DLA-NZ7R's HDMI 2.1 inputs can support 4K at 120Hz — great for gaming on the big screen. But they are also future-ready for the next generation of content when it arrives — 8K. While the imaging chips in this projector are natively 4K, they use JVC's e-shift pixel-shifting technology to display double the resolution of 4K — over 17 million pixels.
