Kenwood Compact UHF FM 2W Portable Radio

The Kenwood TK-3400U16P is a compact UHF FM 2W portable radio that comes programmed and ready to use. It features 16 channels in the UHF band from 451 to 470 MHz, QT/DQT codes, and 2W of transmit power for reliable communication over a range of up to six miles or 20 floors. With IP54-/IP55-rated dust and water resistance, and extensive MIL-STD compliance for protection against damage from shock, vibration, and temperature extremes, the radio is well suited for communications in construction, manufacturing, warehousing, retail, hospitality, facility management, and rental fleet applications. A selectable "Super Lock" mode prevents accidental changes to all controls except PTT and volume, and a calling alert helps get attention in loud environments. The radio is VOX ready for hands-free operation with an external headset or speaker microphone (both available separately). The TK-3400U16P includes a belt clip, a 17-hour battery pack, a 3-hour fast charger, and an antenna.
