Due to the low viscosity compared to other manufacturers, the gap filler fluids from Kerafol® are perfectly suitable for pouring and dispensing and therefore for the stress-free "wet in wet" construction for the component. Gap Filler Liquids are ceramic-filled two-component silicone elastomers without solvents. The new Kerafol product range is characterized by its wide range of thermal conductivity, high degree of insulation and its different compression characteristics. With this in mind, the GFL 3040, a silicone-based 2K casting compound with 4.3 W/mK, was developed. Especially the combination of a very high thermal conductivity, coupled with an excellent flow characteristics is remarkable. Despite the high solid content, the two components of the elastomer can be easily applied by hand with a dispenser gun.
