KLH's Model Three vintage-styled hi-fi speakers have elegant sound and design (shown in English walnut with included stand). Henry Kloss and KLH introduced their original Model Five back in 1968, and it became a popular and broadly recognizable speaker that helped propel the company's success. The Model Three — like the new version of the Model Five — takes advantage of modern driver technology, but houses it in a retro-styled, acoustic suspension (sealed) cabinet that harks back to the company's hi-fi roots. And here's a cool touch, also from the original 1968 version of the Model Five — a passive sound-shaping switch that lets you tailor the speaker's output to your room's acoustics. The Three's smaller two-way design means it can fit in spaces where the Model Five could be overwhelming. KLH says you can place these stand-mount speakers closer to the wall than their big brothers.
