The name "Heresy" pretty much sums up Klipsch's whole approach to their business: they are not a company to play it safe or play by the rules. This speaker has a sound all its own that our customers seem to love (just check out some of the glowing reviews). The very first Heresy speakers were introduced to the world in 1957. Since then, Klipsch has tweaked and fine-tuned this classic design to create the Heresy III. A more powerful woofer, large-magnet titanium diaphragm tweeter, and new titanium diaphragm midrange compression driver all work together to give this speaker a thoroughly up-to-date sound, housed in a cool, decidedly vintage-looking design. Klipsch also added dual speaker inputs to allow bi-wiring or bi-amping for even greater performance levels. And they increased the Heresy's already high-efficiency design by 3 dB to an impressive 99 dB — making them an excellent choice for low- and medium-powered tube amps.
