Knauf

The UW-dB frame profile from Knauf is made of galvanized sheet steel and is ideal for use on floors and ceilings. It can be used as a frame profile for non-load-bearing walls and for the metal substructure of pre-wall installations, installation walls, facing shells and drums. The planking with plasterboard can be done one to three times and one or both sides. This is particularly easy due to the factory-installed screw points. The special embossing additionally increases the stiffness of the wall. And also in terms of sound insulation, the profile is convincing: Since the introduction of insulating materials is possible, the value is up to 8 dB above the DIN standard with the same stability and at the same time less wall thickness. As a result, space is saved, especially in the attic.
