Kohler Command Pro® 674cc OHV V-Twin Vertical Engine. This 724cc peak performer features a steel-forged vertical shaft and air-cooling in a V-Twin configuration. The engine's OHV design gives it greater volumetric efficiency and a higher compression ratio. This produces more power, improved fuel economy and cooling, and reduced oil consumption. Variable speed mechanical governor promises smooth performance, regardless of application. It has oil-pressurized valve lifters that ensure that the push rods stay in constant contact with the rocker arms. Valve train requires no adjustment and is virtually maintenance-free. Full-pressure lubrication delivers continuous lubrication to critical engine components, even at an 25° angle of operation. Optional oil cooler regulates the oil temperature, extending oil-change intervals. Large-capacity in-line fuel filter provides extra protection against dirt particles. U.S.A.
