With its two oscillators, the monotron DUO adds one go further with the classic monotron sound, to create sounds powerful and complex. The "X-MOD" Cross Modulation circuit derived from the classic Korg Mono / Poly synthesizer allows you to create even more special sounds, from vibrato to sounds extremely metallic, which bring to mind the FM synthesis. The ribbon keyboard of the monotron DUO, derived from the KAOSSILATOR, offers one more function than the others models: you can indeed use a button to select one of the 4 available scales: Chromatic, Major, Minor, or Wide. The sound of an analog filter (VCF) can enrich and radically modify a timbre. monotron DUO uses the same VCF circuit as the historians KORG MS-10 and MS-20 semi-modular synths made 30 years ago. The VCF Cutoff potentiometer allows you to select the low pass filter cut-off point, while the Peak one check the resonance.
