Base swivels 360 degrees and tilts 140 degrees Via tension hinge. Magnetic base screws into tripod mount on handle base of many spotlights. Top mounting bracket has a pressed in 3/8-16 x 3/4 inch stud or pressed in 1/4-d stud. The 3/8-16 stud is compatible with the Larson Electronics hl-85 and rl-85 series spotlights. This magnetic base can be screwed on in the field without the use of any tools. The 1/4-d stud is compatible with all cameras, binoculars and most photography and video related Devices.
