Larson Electronics HML-4-200lb-CP magnetic 12 volt spotlight contains a sealed all-glass 100 watt halogen lamp that provides 2 215 Lux of illumination at 25 feet. The lamp is rated at 12 million candle power. This lamp contains a strong filament covered by a full arc shield. The shield gathers the light from the bulb and focuses it into the reflector. The resulting beam is highly focused but at a lower intensity. Thus this light is fairly effective in inclement weather conditions since the beam spread and overall intensity is reduced. The combination of the filament and the shield creates a more focused beam. These spotlights can be attached anywhere there is a ferrous metal surface. The magnetic base is 5 inches in diameter and has 200 pounds of gripping power and is strong enough to keep the spotlight affixed to the vehicle while in motion.
