The Halogen Eco Lamps were newly developed. Basic principle is an optimised filament/spiral design and Xenon technology as well. With the low-voltage lamps OSRAM provides the approved and proven IRC-Technology based on the principle of heat recovery. Through a special coating (Infra-Red-Coating) on lamp flask , the beamed heat reflected again from the filament and remains there in the lamp. Thus, lesser energy from outdoor must be supplied in order to bring the filament to operating temperature.
