NOTE1: On -15B and -20B models, the pass-thru current is limited by the inverter’s output breaker size. NOTE2: The -15B/-20B models have a single AC input and cannot be configured for a 60-amp pass-thru capability. The Magnum Energy MS4048-20B is a powerful pure sine wave Inverter/Charger, ideal for mobile, off grid, and standalone applications. The AC output of this unit is 120 Volts AC single phase, but two inverters can be stacked to produce a combined 8000W, 120/240VAC inverter. When connected to an AC source, the MS4048-20B can pass through 30 Amps per leg to power loads, while at the same time charging the batteries. In this mode, the unit is not inverting, and will not push power back to the grid. The 20B unit has two 20 Amp AC circuit breakers built in, allowing for branch circuits to be connected directly to the inverter’s output.
