Application: For fast, uniform layout of PEX to a wire grid with foamboard base One-person operation is 80% faster than traditional methods. SmartClips are installed with the aid of an easy-to-use, top loading, magazine fed SmartTool Stapler. The ergonomic SmartTool attaches SmartClips to the wire grid from a standing position to save knees and back. Installed SmartClips lift the PEX tubing from the wire to allow thorough concrete encasement and coverage. The PEX is also installed from an easy standing position by pressing into place with one foot while distributing the tubing along the clip layout. Plastic-to-plastic connections eliminate risk of fastener corrosion or abrasion of PEX. Straighter, more accurate layout of PEX is assured with this smart fastening system.
