The PWM-KN series power supplies offer a constant voltage mode with PWM output, which is able to maintain color temperature and brightness uniformity when controlling all types of LED strips. This is achieved by a low dimming range of at least 0.01% and a high-frequency PWM output. The PWM output frequency can be flexibly adjusted by the user via the application software and set up to 4kHz. The high PWM frequency excludes risks with regard to flicker, which are evaluated in the IEEE 1789-2015. The human eye does not perceive changes in the light level linearly, was the result of a difference between measured and perceived light levels. For this reason, three freely selectable dimming curves are available: Linear, DALI and logarithmic. The lowest dimmable light level over the logarithmic curve with 0.01% corresponds to 1% perceived light. This enables applications that require very low luminescence, such as cinemas.
