UFTC UltraFine Soldering Cartridges. Series for most standard applications. Teperature Series: 700 = FR4/Fiber Glass, for most standard applications. UFTC-UltraFine-solder tip cartridges are the standard soldering tip range for the Metcal MX-500, MX-5200 and MX-5200 series soldering systems. Metcal recommends the 700-series UFTC-cartridges for small components or high density packed PCB’s. Can be used with leaded and lead-free solder. The Metcal “SmartHeat®-Technology“ will adjust delivered power during soldering to suit the application.
