Metra ethereal's second-generation HDM-GA2 gigabit accelerator works to repair common issues between HDMI-enabled devices by acting as both an HDMI repair tool and signal extender. It can boost the speed of existing passive HDMI cables to 24Gbps for lengths up to 15-1/2 meters, and 48Gbps for lengths up to 9 meters. It's designed to be used only with passive HDMI cables, and should be installed at the display side of the system.
