The Elate Carbon Pro 93A 3-way component system includes a 9" woofer, a 3" midrange driver, and the Elate Alto 1.1" tweeter, not included with the "non-Pro" Elate Carbon systems. Both the midrange and the woofer use a carbon-fiber/Rohacell cone that minimizes distortion for the most accurate sound possible. And for the Elate Alto tweeter, Morel draws on cavity-back technology developed for their flagship Supremo Piccolo tweeter for astounding highs. Morel enhances the performance of the silk dome tweeter with a coating of Acuflex™ compound, which helps damping for a natural sound. By cancelling break-up that can happen at high-frequencies, this special tweeter soars with a frequency response that reaches up to 25,000 Hz.
