The Motorola DS6708-SR20001ZZR handheld barcode reader is white, contains a 1.3-megapixel digital camera, and can be used to scan and decode linear one-dimensional (1D) and two-dimensional (2D) barcodes and take digital pictures. A 650-nanometer (nm) laser produces lines of light in an omnidirectional pattern to scan barcodes at different angles. An integrated 1.3-megapixel digital camera can be used to take digital pictures. The scan window is made of tempered glass for strength. A cable (sold separately) and on-board interfaces can be used to connect the barcode reader to a computer or host system. Motorola Remote Scanner Management software (available separately for download) can be used by an administrator to manage the device remotely.
