Description

For high-resolution gaming and graphics rendering MSI 's GeForce GTX 970 Gaming 4G Graphics Card is built on a factory overclocked processing core which operates from 1051 to 1279 MHz. The boost in processing speed over the baseline model allows for more data throughput, minimizing bottlenecks and dropped frames during intense gaming sequences. The GTX 970 chipset features 4GB of GDDR5 vRAM coupled to 1664 CUDA GPU cores. The cores are arranged using NVIDIA's Maxwell architecture for efficient operation. Graphics intensive programs can utilize the Maxwell architecture's parallel configuration of the CUDA cores to speed up render times and other tasks that benefit from parallel processing. Additional benefits of Maxwell architecture include energy efficiency; the card has a maximum total power draw of 148 watts when in use. To take advantage of the card's factory overclock, MSI has its Gaming App. The Gaming App allows you to choose one of three modes for the card's operation that best fits your processing...
