MuxLab Dual Audio-Video Balun

The MuxLab Dual Audio-Video Balun allows transmission of up to 2 composite video signals and up to 2 unbalanced audio signals in a point-to-point configuration using Cat5E/6 UTP (Unshielded Twisted Pair) cable, eliminating the need for up to 4 coaxial cables. When used in conjunction with MuxLab's Audio-Video Distribution Hub (p/n 500200), the balun allows distribution of audio-video signals via UTP to up to 8 locations. It is used in pairs to transmit color video signals at a distance of up to 2200' (670m) and audio signals up to 3250' (990m) via Cat5E/6. Providing a hassle-free cabling solution, the balun connects to DVD, VCR, camcorders, audio receivers, audio amplifiers, AV switchers, splitters, AV mixers, and other analogue audio-video equipment featuring coaxial input or output with BNC or RCA connectors.
