MuxLab Stereo AV/IR Pass-Thru Balun

The MuxLab 500048 Stereo AV/IR Pass-Thru Balun (Male) allows transmission of a composite video, a stereo audio, and an IR emitter signal in a point-to-point configuration using a Cat5E/6 UTP cable. It supports transmission of composite video signal at a maximum distance of up to 2200’ (670m) and audio signal up to 3250’ (990m). When used in conjunction with third party IR Remote Control equipment, the balun allows the IR Emitter to be connected to the IR control module via the same Cat5E/6 cable as video and audio. Providing hassle-free cabling solution, the balun connects to DVD players, VCR, satellite receivers, MPEG players, laptops, notebooks, monitors, DLP projectors, CCD cameras, video switchers, sequencers, digital video servers, video multiplexers, video splitters, video converters, and other composite video equipment.
